Green power.

So what are these terms such as green power, and renewable energy etc?

Green power is one of todays buzz words and relates to electricity that is provided from resources such as the sun, wind, and water. The burnign of fossil fuels are one of the worlds largest air pollutions and in todays time of electricity demand, it is easy to see why this polution continues though it MUST be reduced some how. Renewable energy is a method in which we can reduce this polution by using natures natural resources to generate the electricity that we need and be kind to the environment for the sake of us all.

So what are the benefits of Green Power?

There are many benefits to using renewable energy, not simply in the reduction of negative impact on the environment. Public image for a company can be greatly increased when your customers hear that you have a reduced carbon footprint and you are considerate to the environment. Happy customers will therefore not only increase the loyalty to your company, they could also spread the word of your efforts to their friends and family, thus increasing our customer base.

Constant fuel expenses will also be a thing of the past once you are set up with a renewable form of electricity generation. It may seem like a large initial payout for the equipment, however, over time these units will pay for themselves several times over as you will reduce the amount you are spending on fossil fuels.

How much would running my generator on LPG save me?

In order to work out consumption when running petrol generators on LPG, we can add a formular that applies to most engines - 1/3 kg per Kw per Hour.

Therefore, you go through 1/3 kilogram of Gas, per Kilowatt you are using, per hour of usage.

E.G. 3kW constant power will use 1Kg of gas in 1 hour. OR 1kW constant power will use 1Kg of gas in 3 hours.
