Water power, aka Hydro electric power.

We are currently researching the best and most cost effective hydro electric systems that are on offer. We will be bringing these products together with our other systems in order to create a full eco-power complete system tailored to your needs.

How do I use water power?

Hydro electricity is generated by the use of gravity and its effects when water is falling or flowing at high speeds. Utalising the power of water is one way of using nature to generate the power and demands of people today. Hydro electric power can be used to generate anything from 100 kW up to an outstanding 30 Megawatts, and can range from a simple converted waterwheel up to a massive hydroelectricity plan used for powering towns.

What are the advantages to using water power?

With hydroelectricity you eliminate the cost of fuel to produce your power. An ongoing concern for many individuals in todays costly fuel usage society. You also reduce the noise pollution when utalising natures natural methods to get around the constand hum of a petrol or diesel generator. Fumes are also nullified when using a water power system as engine emissions are not an issue for a hydroelectricity system.

Load factor is another advantage to a hydroelectricity power system. Unlike Wind power where the speed and availability of the wind can come into question, water power is a constant flow of fuel that can be relied on as long as the water keeps flowing.

So surely there has to be some downfalls to using water as a power source?

Reports are around that fish and other aquatic life can be dissrupted by the installation of large hydroelectric power systems. However, Fish ladders can be installed in order to compendsate for this if you have a large number of fish that pass through your designated area for your proposed water power system.
